Anchor Resident Support Fund

The Anchor Resident Support Fund is administered by Be Wise.

Providing value for money services to our residents has never been more important. We understand many people are facing financial challenges in the current cost of living crisis and the impact these can have.

We have developed a fund to help residents with essentials such as food, energy, white goods, and items essential to your wellbeing such as bedding, appliances or small items of furniture (referred to as “wellbeing essentials”). The fund is available to Anchor Residents who meet the following criteria:

• Have an urgent need for food, energy, white goods, or wellbeing essentials due to low funds or unexpected expenditure.
• Are on a low income and have no savings available for these items (we may ask for proof of this, but it does not include savings tied into bonds or trusts as these are not immediately available).
• Are willing to talk to our Be Wise team about benefit entitlement and/or how to save money on regular expenditure.

Further avenues of support, such as grants or local authority welfare schemes, can be explored at Turn2Us.

If you are having difficulties paying your rent, service charge or bills speak to your local manager about a referral to Be Wise or contact our Customer Experience Hub on 0800 731 2020 as soon as possible.
