I can’t thank the manager and her team at Wetherby Manor enough. My father needed palliative care and we really didn’t know what to do. From the moment we walked through the doors we knew we were in the right place. Beautiful flowers inside and throughout the garden, smiling residents, smiling staff, light bright rooms, people who cared, so much wa… rmth and empathy. We never looked back. We were looked after as well as my father was. Kindness from everyone makes us feel so welcome. They even let us bring our golden retriever to see my father. This is a place that helps you relax no matter what the future brings and enjoy those precious moments together. 5 star!

After two disappointing care homes, Mum moved to Wetherby Manor, and we were very glad she did. She quickly settled in and became part of the family. She was on the dementia floor, which was great. They allowed Mum to be herself and to have fun, and she would often join the residential floor with their activities (usually listening and dancing to l… ive music). Sadly, Mum recently passed, but the staff couldn't have done any more; they were kind and compassionate towards her and to us, helping us through that sad time.

Mum loved being in Wetherby Manor. She was there for two weeks of respite care and loved everything about it. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was lovely and so much of it. The residents were friendly and took her on a tour of the lovely gardens everyday day she was able which made her stay so enjoyable. Thank you, Wetherby Manor… .

In general the accommodation, inside and out was well designed and kept very clean and tidy. The food, drinks, dining areas, menus and ordering working and well presented by caring staff. Food variable, well cooked and presented. All staff and management were well-presented and showed care and support for people staying in the building at all time… s. All safety and security for people staying in the building work well to control movement in and out of the building including services.

Care Home Manager
Hello, I’m Caroline, the newly appointed registered manager of Wetherby Manor. I have 35 years’ experience within the care sector, bringing a wealth of knowledge and understanding about the needs of the people we support. I look forward to welcoming you to Wetherby Manor. Please say hello or stop by for a chat on your visit, my door is always open.
I am a Mum to three and have worked at Wetherby Manor since it opened in 2013. I started as a Care Assistant, then I was a Senior Team Leader and now I am an Activities Co-ordinator. I am very passionate about creating options for our residents and ensuring their lives are enhanced by the ideas and events that happen in Wetherby Manor. Sadly I experienced a time in my life where a family member needed support which was never given. This experience motivates me to give my all to help others in any way I can. I love spending time with the residents and making a difference.

A review from the daughter of a Wetherby Manor resident
“Mummy has now been in Wetherby Manor for three years. For the past 14 months, she has been on 'Chester's' floor as she required a greater level of care with the onset of dementia and mobility problems. I cannot fault the care and support Mummy receives and in these very difficult times when I cannot visit Mum, I know she is safe, very well protected and cared for by professional and caring staff.”Read more reviews on www.carehome.co.uk
