Spare Chair Sunday

Staff and residents at several Anchor care homes in the North have organised a fun day for residents and any guests over the age of 75 who want to join them for a free Sunday lunch on 29 September.

The event is part of the Spare Chair Sunday campaign run by charity Contact the Elderly which staff and residents from Anchor have supported over the years, including launching a charity single which got to number 17 in the indie charts and fundraising events to mark International Older People’s Day.

The guests will join everyone for Sunday lunch, and take part in the afternoon activities if they want, all free of charge.
