Anchor Hanover signs up to the Mental Health at Work Commitment
Anchor Hanover, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of specialist housing and care for people in later life, have signed up to the Mental Health at Work Commitment.
The Mental Health at Work Commitment is a framework based on research from UK employers and mental health experts. Embedded in this commitment are a set of six standards that guide organisations to improve and support the mental health of colleagues.
Amanda Gonsalves, Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development says:
As an organisation we’ve been doing lots of work, particularly during the challenges caused by the pandemic, to support colleague wellbeing and mental health. We know this is something that continues to be important to colleagues and we care about our colleagues’ wellbeing.
I’m pleased to confirm that to continue and build on the great work we’re already doing in this space; we’ve signed up to the Mental Health at Work Commitment.
By signing up to the Mental Health at Work Commitment, we’ll gain access to a range of resources we can use to further support colleagues by expanding our current offering, guided by experts in this field.
Based on the six standards, we will be putting a plan in place to enhance our initiatives as we continue to support colleague mental health and wellbeing.
