Residents give Anchor care homes the thumbs up in Your Care Rating survey 2019

Anchor has scored highly again in a national survey of residents about the care they receive.

Anchor has scored 17 points above the national average in the Your Care Rating survey, a national survey on how residents rate the services in their care home.

Anchor also manages the highest rated care home in the country - Abbeywood in Ash Vale which received 998 out of 1,000.

Jane Ashcroft CBE, Anchor Hanover’s Chief Executive, said:

“We are thrilled that Abbeywood in Ash Vale is the top scoring care home in the country.

“The home is already rated outstanding by our regulator The Care Quality Commission so I am proud of all the team there and their hard work to maintain high standards of care.

“I’m also pleased that Anchor Hanover as an organisation has performed above the national average again. 

“Every year since 2013, we’ve seen our results improve and this year we are 17 points above the national average - with an overall score of 899 out of a possible 1,000.”
