We appreciate the varied factors that contribute to the health and wellbeing of a person. Our all-encompassing approach to residential care supports the physical needs of each resident, as well as their psychological and emotional wellbeing.
We understand that moving into a care home is a big decision undertaken for many reasons. Some people may be physically frail and no longer able to remain at home for safety reasons. Other people may feel isolated and lonely and want to move into a community to make new friends and feel secure. Our focus on personally tailored care enables us to support residents to maintain their independence, feel truly at home and live a full life, whatever their needs.
Our approach to residential care supports the wide range of conditions and circumstances we may face as we age.
We support people living with memory conditions and degenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s, Huntington’s and dementia.
We support people living with a range of physical conditions such as frailty, arthritis, obesity/weight loss, loss of core strength, osteoporosis and macular degeneration.
Our homes have a real community feel and offer a change of lifestyle that can tackle loneliness and isolation.
Respite care can be provided when people and their loved ones feel they need some extra support, a change of scenery or a rest.
Following hospital treatment or an injury it may not always be safe to go straight home, a short stay in our care homes will help with rehabilitation and recovery.
Our palliative care provision can ensure comfort and dignity for people nearing the end of their life journey.
To ensure we can provide the right level of care and support for everyone living with us, we work with a number of specialist health and social care professionals who either visit our homes on a regular basis or who will make visits by arrangement. These include the local GP, district nurse, dentist, optician, physiotherapist, chiropodist and holistic therapists.
