A customer service career with a clear purpose

In our Customer Experience Hub we have a range of teams all working towards the same goal where older people can love living in later life. Find out more about them below:

  • First Contact Resolution Team - The first point of contact for people enquiring about living with Anchor.
  • Lettings Team - Provide administrative customer service and lettings tenancy support to rented housing customers.
  • Application Assessment Team - Ensure anyone living with us is appropriately housed so our communities remain safe.
  • Customer Experience Support - Provide general administrative support to all colleagues in the most effective and cost-efficient way.
  • Customer Relations - Log and track all types of customer feedback and support colleagues in their responses.
  • Anchor On Call - Provide 24/7 support service to over 29,000 properties providing advice, repairs, and emergency assistance.
  • Resource Planning - Provide the customer services function with a forecasting and scheduling service, as well as a wide range of reporting and MI.

Key roles in each of these teams include:

Customer Experience Advisor

Our Customer Experience Advisors are responsible for handling all contact from new and existing customers, both internal and external, regarding Anchor services.

Customer Experience Team Leader

Our Customer Experience Team Leader drives success by conducting quality checks, providing ongoing coaching, and championing continuous development. They celebrate achievements, expertly prioritise workloads, coordinate resources, and manage performance challenges - all while keeping our team motivated and engaged.

Customer Experience Team Manager

The Customer Experience Team Manager drives exceptional customer service, leads and motivates a multifaceted team, and ensure alignment with business objectives. They enhance processes, manage resources, and support team development. Additionally, they manage external client relationships to ensure compliance and contractual obligations.

Development opportunities

We also offer a customer service apprenticeship scheme supporting colleagues to gain their level 2 qualification.
