The Development and Sales team explore partnering opportunities and invest where we can best maximise income to support our social purpose. Homes England and the Greater London Authority are key partners for Anchor, and we seek to utilise grant funding.

Our focus is to ensure new homes are comfortable and affordable, reduce environmental impact, enhance biodiversity, support sustainable transport options, and minimise exposure to climate risks such as flooding and overheating.

This year we are considering our approach to working with others and are in the process of developing a Joint Ventures Strategy. We’re investing in growing the number of homes we can offer those older people in England who are most in need; and we want to invest in your growth too.

Join us for growth and stability

We have a strong and stable financial position to back our long-term plan and we want talented and ambitious people to join us to make it happen. We’ve created several new senior roles across our Development and Sales Department to help lead this drive for growth, and we’re also looking for a number of key team members to deliver it.

Onique Huggins Norford

Hear from Onique Huggins Norford, our Technical Officer

"In my first month at Anchor the Development team have all been very welcoming, making sure that I can step into the role and perform at my best. Each member of the team is easy to talk to and always has time for you, including our Executive Director, Oliver Boundy, who took the time to meet me and discuss the exciting plans for the team. Anchor has a strong presence in the housing community and gives colleagues the opportunity to attend events to connect with the industry. My recent attendance at UKREiiF allowed me to watch a panel session including our CEO Sarah Jones in which she identified Anchor's goals for the future and how my new role helps to achieve that. The development team will play an integral part in what Anchor is aiming to do and I'm excited to be a part of it!"

Alison

I am particularly excited about Anchor's ambitious development strategy to deliver 500 units for older people every year. Being part of a team that is committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults through sustainable and innovative housing solutions is truly inspiring and motivates me to contribute my best every day."
