Anchor gained planning permission to build a care home at West Hall, West Byfleet, in May 2009. We are creating a modern, high-quality care home that is fit for the demands and expectations of the 21st century.
The unique appearance and design of this care home reflects our belief that every aspect can be improved to create a standard of care for older people that is dignified and personal and encourages an active, independent life.
The West Hall listed manor house will be refurbished to a high standard to provide a focus to the site.
West Hall will boast a wide range of facilities, such as a hair and beauty salon, library, quiet room and both a bistro and private dining facility. All of these elements promise to enrich and vary the daily life of people in the care home.
Residents will live in small groups in three state-of-the-art residences radiating out from the manor house. Each will have large individual living / bedrooms and shared living and eating areas.
The aim will be to create a real sense of community for people living at West Hall by offering a wide range of social activities and encouraging independence and choice.
