At St Clements Court retirement housing scheme in Eastbourne, we offer 3 two bedroom, 18 one bedroom and 24 studio purpose-built properties for rent for people over the age of 55.
The property is situated close to the local hospital and has excellent transport links to neighbouring towns as well as Brighton and Hastings. The local shops include a supermarket, post office, florist, bakery, fish and chip shop and hairdressers. There are doctors' surgeries within walking distance and on the local bus route. Other local amenities include supermarkets, pubs and restaurants, a bowling alley, a gym, a local park with a pond and a cafe.
We understand that sometimes you like to be alone and at other times you may want to be more sociable. Our properties give you that freedom. At St Clements Court we run social activities including coffee mornings six days a week, theatre trips, day trips, darts, games afternoons, open days and fayres, afternoon teas, carpet bowls and a monthly luncheon club.

What is included in rental fees?
Our service charge covers all the cost of amenities you share with your neighbours, including the scheme manager service, our 24-hour emergency call service (Anchorcall), repairs and maintenance, window cleaning, gardening and the cleaning of communal areas.
Your local council will be able to advise you about getting help paying your rent and service charge through housing benefit. They will also be able to tell you if they will be paying grant to us to meet or contribute towards the support cost elements of our services to you.
