Jane Ashcroft, Chief Executive of Anchor visited the brand new, state-of-the-art Maple Tree Court Care Home, Kidsgrove last week to officially welcome its first residents Mrs Pauline Sales and Mrs Pauline West.

Mrs Pauline Sales was born In Chesterton and later moved to Kidsgrove. She is married and has two daughters and several grandchildren. Pauline worked for a number of years on the Maternity Wards at the local hospital and continues to have a love of babies and small children. Previous to this she worked on a local factory Rists Wires and Cables making parts for the car industry. Pauline very much enjoys time spent with her family and trips out.

Mrs Pauline West was born in Bidulph which is an area close to Kidsgrove. She lived in Cheadle, Staffordshire Moorlands until moving to Maple Tree Court. Pauline is married and with her husband brought a local garage which is still in the family today. Pauline has always had a love of dogs she got great pleasure out of flower arranging and other craft type activities which she continues to enjoy at Maple Tree Court.

The home is designed to best enable the delivery of quality care and provide a positive lifestyle choice for local people who may be frail, elderly or living with dementia.
