Staff from Banstead South East Coast Ambulance control room got together this Christmas and made shoe box gifts for the residents of Greenacres care home.
A representative from the ambulance service said: "There has been a huge frive to raise awareness of dementia and Alzheimer's in the ambulence service, especially with our growing elderly population. This is something close to my heart and I believe no one should be without a festive gift and a smile at Christmas. I would like to thank my colleagues for their effort and support with this project.
"Merry Christmas and a happy new year from all at South East Coast Ambulance, stay safe."
Home Manager Simanti Nandi said "we at Greenacres care home always look forward to building links with the community. This is a great platform to work in partnership with other care services"
Thank you to everyone from the South East Coast Ambulance service who helped to bring a little more festive cheer to the lives of Greenacres residents this Christmas.
