Former Strictly Come Dancing star Flavia Cacace-Mistry visited Limegrove care home, Leatherhead and gave resident Kathleen White, aged 86, a master class in the jive.

Kathleen White and her dance partner, Barbara Smith, won the first round of the Anchor Strictly Dancing Competition.

Flavia said, “Kathleen has great rhythm and great musicality. I think she will do really well.”

Mrs White has been dancing nearly her whole life and came runner up in last year’s contest, this year she is hoping to go all the way as she dances to Glenn Miller’s ‘In the Mood’. If Kathleen and Barbara make it through to the final, they will dance in front of former Come Dancing presenter, Angela Rippon.
