Residents from Elizabeth Court care home in Caterham have enjoyed the warm weather with a trip to Brighton.
Staff and older people from Anchor’s Elizabeth Court were joined with family members and loved ones as they spent several hours in Brighton, visiting the beach and walking along the pier together.
Activity Co-ordinator Stanley Lacle said the day trip had been a huge success with the 35 strong group having a lot of fun by the sea.
Stanley said: “We were very pleased that so many people were able to join us on this special trip, having a mini bus means we really can get out and about and visit new places.
“It is important to organise meaningful activities for the residents, such as getting out and about, as this boosts their mental and physical well-being and, of course, it’s fun!”
