On Monday 6 October colleagues from Eastlake set up a stand at the Peacock Centre in Woking and spent the day sharing information about the range of services Anchor offer older people living in Surrey.

Linda Grout, Manager at Eastlake said: “Many people visiting the stand were keen to talk to the team about working in care, asking about key entry routes and the training available with Anchor.”

Visitors to the stand also completed a recruitment survey for the team which will be used to help Anchor understand what people are looking for when they are searching for new employment in the local area.

Linda commented: “The day was a great opportunity for us to spread the word about all the services Anchor offer older people and help raise awareness of the career opportunities with Anchor in Surrey.”

Anchor offer a range of career opportunities and voluntary positions across a number of professions throughout England. You can find out more about working and volunteering with Anchor, as well as search our current vacancies and apply for them, on our Careers pages.
