Buckingham Lodge care home in Aylesbury have helped resident Eric enjoy a trip to a local pub for a tasty lunch.
Home Manager Adele Hawkins explains: “At the start of the new year all the residents wrote down a new memory they would like to make in the coming year. We hung them on a wish tree in the home and each month the team select 2-3 and make them come true.
“Eric's wish was to have a good old pub lunch in the local, so we made it happen for him. The team arranged lunch at the Bugle Horn pub for Eric and he very much enjoyed getting dressed up for the trip.
“At Buckingham Lodge we do our very best to give the residents we care for a range of special moments to remember. I am so passionate about this project, making a difference to people’s lives is the best part of my job.”
