Bishopstoke Park invited customers of Phase 2 to attend an exclusive black tie event to celebrate the opening of the northern section of the village last week.

Guests were joined by Anchor Chief Executive Jane Ashcroft and Housing Operations Director Howard Nankivell as well as many of the village staff on 14 December for the special event.

With the red carpet laid out, official photographer, Chris Meany was on hand to capture guests’ arrival in all their finery.

After enjoying a glass of bubbly, guests were escorted by hosts Jane and Helen to the village’s AA rosette awarded restaurant, the Redwood Bistro, where they were treated to a delightful two course menu.

Three piece Blues and Jazz band; Smokestack provided a delightful repertoire of upbeat background music throughout the meal

Village Adviser Helen White said: “This was a special opportunity for guests and staff to enjoy an evening together and toast the success of Phase 2 of Bishopstoke Park.

“We are very excited to welcome the new residents to the village and hope they are looking forward to being part of our thriving community.”

Phase 2 of Bishopstoke Park has seen another 43 luxury apartments open at the retirement village in Hampshire, where in addition to beautiful surroundings, residents can enjoy a range of first class facilities including The Mount Wellness Centre and Spa, Redwood Bistro, Cotton's Delicatessen and General Store.

Helen continued; “Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed themselves today and it has even inspired several of the residents to start a Dinner Club, so black tie events may be set to be a regular thing here at Bishopstoke Park!”
