The Anchorage Community Centre in Bradford has held a very well attended health and wellbeing information day on 11 March 2016.

The event offered local older people an opportunity to speak to a range of professionals including local police, care teams, the college and two solicitors from JWP Solicitors who were offering free legal advice around will writing, advice on tax planning and inheritance tax.

Brenda Metcalfe, Anchor’s Customer Engagement Manager said: “Sessions like this are really valuable opportunities for people to ask questions of local professionals.

“We were particularly pleased to have JWP Solicitors attend and provide their advice for free”

After the event JWP wrote about their experience of the day in their company blog: “Anchor recognises that everyone is an individual. They work hard to get to know their customers, build relationships and ensure the service that they provide are ones that people want.

“JWP Solicitors is pleased to support such an honest reliable and worthy provider of housing and care for older people.”

“The event was a success and we would like to take this opportunity to thank Anchor for having us and we look forward to working with Anchor and their lovely customers again in the future.”
