Anchor’s musical project which raised £15,000 for older people’s charity Contact the Elderly, has been recognised by the 2013 CorpComms Awards.

Nominated for the Best Corporate Campaign, judges described the Anchor Community Band as a “great fun, cheeky and imaginative campaign”.

The annual CorpComms Awards are recognised as the leading awards scheme for in-house communications professionals.

Mario Ambrosi, Anchor’s Head of Communications and Public Affairs, said: “I’m absolutely delighted we’ve been recognised at such a prestigious award ceremony. This is a real tribute to the hard work of everyone involved in the Anchor Communtiy Band."

This prestigious commendation follows after the campaign won Integrated Communications Campaign of the Year at the Public Sector Communications Awards 2013.
