Staff at Moore Place Care Home organised a 1940's weekend for the residents early this month.
Carers at the home got into the spirit of things by dressing in 1940’s style clothing and our fantastic chef designed a menu based on that era. Residents also listened to 1940’s music throughout the day and there was even a quiz for them to take part in.
As well as all the activities that took place during the day, residents really enjoyed reminiscing about the 1940’s and discussing what they were doing and where they were during that era. These conversations continued into the next week and some residents are still talking about how much fun they had during this day.
