"I enjoy living here. The staff are patient and caring. They’re marvellous. I’m registered blind so they help me with everyday things other people take for granted, such as getting clothes out of the cupboard for me and reading books to me. Most important is the sense of community. I like the company of the other residents. There are a lot of activities here. I love doing the arts and crafts sessions, and I enjoy playing Scrabble with friends. The activity co-ordinator is lovely. She reads out the letters to me to help me play. She has enabled me to play with words even though I can't see them."
