Care Home Manager
"It’s been a busy and interesting time since I joined St Marys and I look forward to further exciting opportunities as we continue developing our services. The process of finding the right home can be a daunting task because matching a service to your family members' preferences can be a challenge, as few of us have ever selected another home for a loved one before. At St Marys we endeavour to make each step as stress free as possible, exploring all the options and assisting you to navigate the jargon and paperwork and creating a personal and happy space for your family member so they are surrounded by familiar items and personal belongings. Please come and visit St Marys and see for yourself how we put our words into action."
"I have worked in care since 1993, and have enjoyed working with Karen over the past for 15 years. I joined Karen and the team in July 2016 and from then there has been no going back! My main focus is making sure that St Marys continues to have that special something that makes us a fabulous place to live, visit and work. The staff team at St Marys work well together to ensure it has a supportive framework for our residents, so that they can be as comfortable as possible."
"I’ve worked in residential and nursing services for over 10 years, I feel excited about our new opportunities at St Marys. Our resident's nutritional health is as important as their enjoyment of their mealtime experiences, so talking to them about seasonal menu development is one of the areas I most enjoy. We cook everything to order, so adapting the menu around what someone needs that day is very straight forward."
"People approach me for answers and reassurance about all kinds of different aspects in relation to life at St Marys and if I don’t have the answer, I’ll soon find it! Our team here are friendly and ready with a smile along with a cup of tea, biscuit or if you’re feeling naughty a slice of cake. Come for a visit and I’m sure you will agree that we have a lovely home."
Anchor endeavour to be completely transparent about all our charges and fees. For further information please contact us.
