Families and staff from Moore Place care home took part in the Memory Walk at Painshill Park on Sunday 9th October.
The weather was extremely kind to staff and residents of Moore Place as they helped raise nearly £400 for the Alzheimer’s Society as part of their annual walk. There was even a celebrity presence at the event with This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford cutting the ribbon to start the walk off.
Sonia Hamilton-Martin, Customer Relations Manager said ‘it was so great to see so many families of our residents and staff from Moore Place walking for this extremely worthwhile charity, the Alzheimer’s Society. It’s even better knowing that we’ve help raise nearly £400 as well.
The residents and staff look forward to taking part in the Memory Walk again next year and will continue to support the Alzheimer’s Society over the next 12 months.
