Construction at Hampshire Lakes retirement village on Sandhurst Road, Yateley, is progressing well this spring, and with new developments on site each week, the village team have started using Twitter and Facebook to share news and photos with both customers and the local community.
The village is really taking shape, we are now 75% of the way through plastering the village centre, with second fix works ready to commence, and within the wellness centre and spa the heated indoor swimming pool and spa areas are all ready to be tiled.
The Village Apartments are at the pre-decoration stage while the apartments within the village core are all ready to be second fixed.
Customers that visit the site will also see that most of the scaffolding has now been taken down to allow for work to begin on external paving and pathways, and preparation is in place to receive the specialist joinery.
Rhona Smith, General Manager at Hampshire Lakes said: “Hampshire Lakes is just a short distance from both the towns of Yateley and Sandhurst and we know from the conversations we have with the local community that people are very interested in how the village is coming along.
“The team here has taken to social media to share regular updates and photos of the village on both Facebook and Twitter, and we are starting to build quite a following!
“Once open, Hampshire Lakes will be a thriving community of like-minded people and through social media we are hoping to build that sense of community and introduce our team as early as possible.
“Obviously nothing beats arranging a visit and coming along to see the show apartments in person, but in-between your visits, our social media posts will help you stay up to date with village life.”
