Anchor have well established partnerships with a wide range of organisations across the country. We are continually involved in new initiatives that raise standards and shape best-practice in our ever-changing and growing sector.
We work with the following organisations on a number of projects:
The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF)
The CTBF is the leading UK charity for people working behind the scenes in the film, cinema and commercial television industries. Our innovative partnership offers a discount in any Anchor care home to those who have worked in the film or commercial television industries as well as to parents of industry qualifying personnel. National Association for Providers of Activities for Older People (NAPA)
NAPA is a voluntary organisation dedicated to increasing the profile and understanding of the activity needs for older people.
Age UK provide information and advice for the elderly about benefits, care, age discrimination and computer courses.
Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC)
EAC provide information, advice and guidance on any aspect of care, support or housing for older people.
Tickled Pink Productions
Tickled Pink Productions perform shows and entertainment to nursing and residential care homes.
Contact the Elderly
Contact the Elderly is the only national charity solely dedicated to tackling loneliness and social isolation among older people.
The Silver Line
The Silver Line is a free confidential helpline providing information, friendship and advice to older people, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
The Care Workers Charity (CWC)
Anchor is proud to support CWC, a charity supporting the basic welfare of current, former and retired care workers. Support is offered in the form of hardship grants, and online information and advice.
