Independent Customer Complaints Panel
Alan Plant has been elected Chair of the Independent Customer Complaints Panel.
Alan has been a resident with Anchor for over ten years and has been a member of the Customer Complaints Panel on the Anchor side since its formation in 2013. He stepped up to Chair in 2018 and has recently been elected as Chair of the newly formed Independent Customer Complaints Panel for the recently merged company, Anchor Hanover.
The Independent Customer Complaints Panel is made up of Anchor Hanover customers from rented and leasehold locations. These customers all have an interest in providing an impartial view on how a complaint has been handled throughout the process. If a customer decides to ask the Panel to look at their complaint, the Panel will review all the correspondence relating to the matter and provide a response based on how they feel the case has been handled.
As part of this response, recommendations are made to Anchor Hanover asking them to act over and above the replies already sent, or they may sign post the complainant to the relevant bodies for further review if they don’t feel any recommendations are necessary.
