If you are a solicitor with older clients you will probably be considering the likely outcomes of The Care Act. How will it affect your clients?
As a major provider of care, we are aware that the way in which your clients may be affected by Local Authority funding, is something that you need to know and understand. We also know that you need to keep up to date with ways of funding long term care, especially if your clients, or parents of your clients, may need care in the near future.
Following demand from many local solicitors and their clients, we have arranged a seminar to discuss these issues at West Hall care home. The seminar will be presented by Andrew Dixson-Smith, Director and Adviser of Eldercare Solutions Ltd, a leading care fees planning specialist firm. Andrew is an accredited Later Life Adviser and a founder Advisory Board Member of the Society of Later Life Advisers.
Andrew has specialised in this field of advice for the past 15 years and writes regular national newspaper articles on Long term Care issues and has been interviewed on BBC Radio and TV on a number of occasions. He was also voted ‘Best Long Term Care Intermediary’ in 2009 and 2013 at the prestigious Health Insurance Awards and runner up in 2010.
The seminar will provide you with real information that you will be able to use in your practice. At the seminar you will learn:
• Why clients need Later Life advice in preparation for Long Term Care
• How your clients could be affected by The Care Act in April 2016
• Different funding methods
• Using the tax system to meet the cost of care
Places at the seminar are very limited so please book your place now.
We hope you will be able to join us, and look forward to welcoming you to West Hall.
