You’ll have plenty of choice. All our retirement homes are very different, ranging from a small cul–de-sac of six bungalows to a large estate of 86 apartments. Most are set in pleasant landscaped settings.
When you buy a property you can be confident you are buying a comfortable, attractive home, built and maintained to the highest standards.
We plan for major repairs through contributions to a sinking fund, so money is available when it is needed. The contribution, usually deferred until the sale of your property, need not impact on your monthly outgoings.
You may consider shared ownership as an option and we have retirement properties available. Shared ownership or 'part buy' helps people who cannot or do not want to buy their home outright. You buy a share of a property and pay rent on the rest.
The amount of 'share' people buy varies and depends on the property. If you would like to find out where our subsidised and shared ownership estates are, please contact us by telephone or email.
Living in an Anchor-managed retirement home means you can enjoy your retirement while we carry out all the tasks associated with managing and maintaining your home on your behalf.
At each estate there will be an estate manager who acts as the first point of contact for any queries and can offer help to access local services.
The process for buying one of our retirement homes is the same as it would be for buying any property: you view them through an estate agent.
However, we can let you know about the retirement properties for sale in the areas that interest you. Please contact us to find the retirement home to suit you.
