In our care homes, activities play an important role and we aim to enhance our residents’ quality of life by providing a varied range of social activities.
We have an Activities Co-ordinator in each of our care homes. Their main role is to organise and arrange daily activities within the home and local community, ranging from quizzes to arts and crafts sessions.
When you come to live with us we will spend time getting to know how you would like us to help you continue your current lifestyle and to live the life you want.
Based on that, we can offer you care services ranging from the provision of medical aids and dispensing of medication to laundry and housekeeping services and support with day-to-day social activities.
We also pride ourselves on the quality of our catering. Our specially trained chef prepares meals each day using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
You can rest assured that our services and care homes meet Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards - 85% of our homes have been rated "good" or "excellent" by the CQC. But feel free to visit us at any time. We’re here to help and look forward to giving you a warm welcome.
When you go to visit a care home either for yourself or for a relative you will have lots of questions. To ensure you feel happy about the move to a nursing care home we can even plan for you to make a short stay in the home of your choice, based on the availability of a vacant room and the length of time you would like to stay.
This would be charged at our current residential care rate and would give you an ideal opportunity to see what it is like to live with us.
