Dependable 24-hour emergency help

Anchorcall is a telephone alarm system which, when installed in a person's home allows them to call for help whenever they need it.

By activating the alarm users alert the support centre staff, who offer reassurance and quickly arrange for help to be sent. The team at the Anchorcall support centre have immediate access to all customers' details and can respond quickly and appropriately.

Depending on the nature of the call, they provide assistance by contacting friends, relatives, a doctor or emergency services.

If the operator cannot hear the customer, they will automatically call for help on their behalf.

Anchorcall provides cover 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

How are calls handled?

Every Anchor Retirement Housing scheme and Guardian estate is equipped with a community alarm system, linking both individual flats and communal areas, such as lounges and lifts, to the Anchorcall Support Centre, via either a pull cord or a telephone-based dispersed alarm.

When the alarm is activated, the system sends an alarm to the call-handling equipment in the support centre, and when the call is answered, the details of the scheme or flat are shown on the Anchorcall call-handling terminal for staff to view.

Because we keep details of every individual and which unit they live in, the system allows the team to deal with calls quickly and efficiently, arranging whatever help may be required.

The Anchorcall system provides customers with peace of mind. Whether they have been taken ill, had a fall or need some other help - they always have the reassurance that there is someone waiting to help 24 hours a day.
