At Nelson Lodge care home, we focus on providing the older people that choose to live with us with an active lifestyle from the outset.

You’ll always find plenty to do at Nelson Lodge. With a host of daily leisure activities for you to take part in, our home will have a real community feel where people interact with their fellow residents, families and friends, and are supported to continue doing all the things they love.

We understand that the activities people carry out in their free time are often the things that they most look forward to and enjoy. Our hobbies and interests are individual to us, they shape the person we are and help to paint a picture of the way we like to live our lives.

Nelson Lodge's first class facilities will be complemented by a line-up of meaningful activities that make a big difference to our residents. A stimulating events and activities calendar will be organised to match individual residents’ interests and needs. We will encourage a variety of hobbies and work in partnership with the National Association for Providers of Activities for Older People (NAPA) to ensure our range of activities enhance residents’ lifestyle, health and sense of wellbeing.

Part of the local community

Our home will also be very much part of the local community and we will encourage activities that help our residents maintain important bonds with other people and groups in St Neots.

We understand that residents enjoy getting out and about and can organise regular outings to local social activities and groups.
