ANCHOR SCOOPS CATERING AWARD  

Winning the Chairman's Special Award proved to be the icing on the cake for Anchor Homes' catering team at this year's National Association of Care Catering awards ceremony in Blackpool.      

Awarded to the organisation that has made a significant contribution towards the N.A.C.C. and the care catering sector as a whole, this is the first year the Chairman's Special Award has gone to an independent care provider.

Bob Bird, Anchor's Head of Lifestyle Services, said:

“By consistently raising our standards we make a significant contribution to the quality of life of older people. This award is a reflection of the hard work done by the team over the years.”

Roger Kellow, Chairman of the N.A.C.C., added:

Anchor Homes has Hospitality Assured status awarded by the Hotel and Catering International Management Association, making it the only independent care provider to receive the award across all its homes. Other holders of the award include Center Parcs and London's Ritz Hotel.
