Members of the local Weybridge community in Surrey enjoyed the first opportunity to view Austin Place this weekend ahead of its opening on Wednesday (27 January).
Over 150 people visited Anchor's new development on Oatlands Drive for a glimpse of the luxurious retirement apartments. Austin Place also offers a wealth of on-site facilities, including a hair and beauty salon, treatment room, coffee shop, lounge, reading room, tranquil rooftop retreat and beautiful landscaped gardens.
The retirement properties are being offered exclusively for sale through local estate agents, Hamptons International, in Weybridge and Esher.
Speaking at the event, Anchor’s Housing Operations Director Howard Nankivell said: “It’s great to see Austin Place so busy and lively – you really get a sense of what life will be like here when it opens. There is high demand for retirement properties in Weybridge, and we’ve seen a lot of interest in Austin Place as it is such a flexible solution, offering support and security without compromising independence.”
From luxurious apartments to first-class facilities, every feature of Austin Place has been designed to meet the specific needs of those in their later years and residents will be surrounded by like-minded people in an inviting community. The development enjoys an attractive woodland backdrop whilst being within easy walking distance of nearby shops and amenities. Austin Place will provide residents with everything they need to enjoy an independent lifestyle and the peace of mind that there is support on their doorstep if they need it.
