Residents at Thameside care home in West Molesey celebrated in the sunshine as their new garden gazebo was opened by local MP Dominic Raab on Care Home Open Day.

The MP for Esher and Walton was welcomed to the care home to cut the ribbon on the new gazebo by residents on 19 June 2015.

Residents and staff enjoyed an art exhibition, an outdoor buffet in the garden as well as live entertainment at the community open day.

Heather Di Somma, Administrator at the care home said: “We have all had a fantastic day. We had a singer, Phil Charles, performing rat pack songs – he was amazing. All the residents loved him and they were up singing and dancing.”

Sachin Rajkumarsingh, Care Home Manager said “Everyone has had a lot of fun today. It was great that people from the local community came along to see for themselves what a great place Thameside is to live and work.”
