Residents and staff at Selkirk House care home in Plymstock have created a magical fairy-tale Christmas tree dress in the style of Cinderella.
Deciding that they wanted to do something different this festive season, the staff and residents came up with a magical idea.
James Kazer, Hospitality Manager said: “Following our appeal in the local area for donations of unwanted artificial Christmas trees we had an overwhelming response for which we are extremely grateful.
“As a result we were able to recycle and create a unique magical fairy-tale Christmas tree dress in the style of Cinderella.
“Cinderella is this year’s pantomime at the Theatre Royal Plymouth which many of our residents will be attending so it felt very fitting, and was a lot of fun to create.”
The tree is displayed proudly in the reception area of the home for the holiday season.
