Anchor’s Rose Court care home in Rotherhithe have welcomed the BBC in to film one of their regular evening parties to show how a partnership with arts charity Magic Me is helping generations mingle over cocktails.

Anchor’s partnership with Magic Me is one of our many initiatives to encourage meaningful activity in all our care homes.

Magic Me are an arts charity that brings generations together to build a stronger, safer community. At Anchor’s Rose Court and Silk Court care homes, both in London, volunteers come into the homes to run evening cocktail parties and to spend time talking and dancing with our residents.

During the video Anchor's Debbie Sharples Kirkbride also highlights how these evening parties provide a great opportunity for family members of residents to visit the home after work and spend quality time doing something different with their loved ones.
