Residents from an East Grinstead care home have been busy this week making Easter cards and decorations for their Easter fayre.

Anchor’s Silver Court care home in Halsford Lane is holding an Easter fayre for residents, their families and friends on Thursday 6 April from 2pm onwards.

The fayre, which takes place between 2pm and4pm, will feature events and activities for all the family, such as live entertainment, afternoon tea, Easter raffle and tombola.

Resident Christine Drury 78 has enjoyed making Easter cards which will be on sale at the fayre said: “It has been a lot of fun preparing for the Easter fayre. I’ve been busy making Easter cards and decorations. “There are always lots of interesting activities organised here. We have visits from community groups as well as my favourite activity which is anything musically related we have lots of good entertainers who visit the home.

“I hope the local community will support the fayre and look round Silver Court to see for themselves how nice it is to live here.”
