Residents and staff at Anchor’s Orchard Gardens care home in Bishopstoke Park met the children and teachers from Stoke Park Infant School to sample their delicious school dinners on Monday

Orchard Gardens Manager, Tracy Hibberd said: “We were absolutely delighted to be invited by the children to join them for lunch at school.

“We organise a variety of events to stimulate the residents mentally and physically, and we are thrilled to be collaborating with the teachers from Stoke Park Infant School to join forces on several events in the coming months. We are already looking forward to the children coming to the care home to sing Christmas Carols with us in December.”

Pam Cox, 71, who has lived at Orchard Gardens care home for almost a year, said: “The lunch was delicious and the children were all so confident.”
