Dawson Lodge care home has introduced a new exercise class as part of a new strategy for delivering meaningful activities. 

The new exercise class is called Oomph and is run by two specially trained members of the care team. 

Home Manager Mitchelle Perry said: “The new class is extremely popular and is enjoyed by many of the residents.

“A number of residents have said they have thoroughly enjoyed it and that they are pleased that they getting to keep fit in this new, fun way.”

The new Oomph classes take place twice a week in the home. 

Anchor are passionate about delivering a wide range of activities for residents which include physical activities such as Oomph, gardening, walking clubs, musical activities, pet therapy, reminiscence and outings.
