Residents at Heathside care home enjoyed a journey down memory lane as they were serenaded with songs of the 1950s and 1960s.

The singers from Dream World Productions entertained residents during their lunch time and the day was also an awareness raising event abourt heart disease and how to be healthy.

They were given a talk by the British Heart Foundation and told about diet and how to keep healthy.

Events Co-ordinator Holly Manley said: "After a last minute cancellation we were so glad that the singers could come and entertain our residents and guests. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and the singers were just so fantastic and engaging with everyone.

"The talk was really engaging and I think they all learned something".
