Life has gone marching on at a pace in the last month at Heathside care home in Woking.
Charity, mothers and the role of women generally have given rise to events at Heathside, in Coley Avenue. The Red Nose Day celebrations, in aid of Comic Relief's campaign to tackle poverty and injustice, saw residents and staff supporting red items of clothing and having their faces painted.
An entertainer showed slides and old film footage of comedy greats from years gone by, while bric-abrac and caked stalls were set up.
On Mother's Day, more that 20 relatives came to celebrate the occasion, enjoying a three-course lunch and spending time with loved ones.
International Women's Day saw residents make the trip to The Soverigns pub, in Guildford Road, for lunch, with the homes men having marked International Gentlemen's Dau at the same venue earleir in the year.
