The Knitting Circle at Holly Court housing scheme in Attleborough have been featured in April's edition of Norfolk Knitters & Stitchers newsletter for their charitable work over the last year.
In 2015 the Circle raised over £600 for a number of charities in the Attleborough County area. The Holly Court tenants even donated another £550 themselves.
Lesley Harper, Scheme Manager said: "THey are a very small group of tenants in Holly Court, who meet on Monday afternoon for a knit, natter and a cuppa. Sometimes there are only two people in the room but other times there are as many as eight or nine - so to raise that sort of money is quite an achievemnet."
A few of the organisations which have benefitted from the Holly Court Knitting Circle's charitable donations are; Attleborough First Responders, Air Ambulence, Pact Animal Sanctuary, Cromer Lifeboat, Attleborough Day Centre, Dogs Trust and Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind.
