On the 6 April 2016, a team of volunteers from Heathrow Airport visited Meadowside care home in Staines to help get their garden in tip top condition ready for the summer.

The helpful group from Heathrow's leadership team set to work clearing out a garden pond, replanting the borders and tidying the home's garden.

Residents love the new style garden already, and when finished they will be able to sit and listen to wind chimes hanging from the pagoda and look out over the pond and water features that will be installed over the coming weeks.

"The next step," the Heathrow volunteers have said "is the vegitable patch at the back of the home."
