Residents and staff at Eastlake care home in Nightingale Road, Godalming held a party on the 31 October 2013 to celebrate Halloween and to say a very big thank you to three special staff that have worked at Eastlake for over 30 years each.

Geraldine Bura started on nights as a care assistant on 27-9-1979 and is currently a care assistant on days as well as stepping in as a team leader.
Sheila Elliott started as a domestic  on 11-2-1980 and is currently a team leader.
Pat Lewer started as a domestic on 11-2-1980 and is currently a care assistant.

Linda grout, Business Manager said “I would like to start by saying a heart warming thank you to Geraldine, Sheila and Pat, who have worked here for over 30 years showing dedication, loyalty and commitment to Eastlake and our residents. I couldn’t ask anything more of my staff, I feel blessed and privileged to have been part of such a loving, caring team.

Ash Khan, District Manager, was also present for the presentation expressing his thanks and admiration of the staff for their long and loyal service.
All the ladies where handed a beautiful bouquet of flowers and £100.00 each in vouchers, And to help with the celebration Eastlake had a special cake made for the occasion and bucks fizz, as well as singer from Mac Entertainment.
Finally all the staff and residents at Eastlake want to say a huge thank you to you all for all your hard work, thank you
