Selby Collage students Georgia Webb and Isabel Herd, both completing their first year of the Health and Social Care, have just completed their work placement at Anchor's Firth House care home in Millgate.
Both girls have been gaining experience working at Firth House for the last few weeks, helping with the day-to-day activities and learning about everything that goes into working in a care home.
Pearl Millin, Home Manager at Firth Hourse said "we have placements throughout the year from the colleges and schools, this gives them a taste of what really life is like to live and work in a care home. They are our future and Anchor as a company feel we need to invest in the youth of today as they are our tomorrow."
