Anchor’s newest care home, Moore Place, has brought festive cheer to Esher with the donation of a gigantic Christmas tree.

Anchor staff joined local residents in Esher town centre on Friday 28 November at 5.30pm to enjoy a bugle band, carol singers and Italian Market, and see the tree being lit up by well-loved DJ David ‘Kid’ Jensen.

Also in attendance were MP Dominic Raab, Deputy Mayor Councillor Jan Fuller and Esher Business Guild Chairperson Dr Smita Mehra.

Anchor’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Howard Nankivell, said: “We’re delighted that Anchor could play a part in such a special occasion – it’s really important to us that Moore Place is becoming a part of the Esher community, so that our residents can feel truly at home here when we open in 2015.”

Moore Place is opening in spring next year and will provide 24 hour care and support for older people, with special expertise in dementia care. Situated on Portsmouth Road, the home boasts beautiful gardens overlooking the golf course, as well as luxurious facilities including a beauty salon, coffee lounge and cinema room.
