Local mother Tara Baker launched her toddler group earlier this year to visit care homes and bridge the gap between the younger and older generation. Local toddlers come to Eastlake care home in Godalming twice a month to play games, sing nursery rhymes and of course, give plenty of cuddles.
Our residents really look forward to spending time with the children and have all grown very fond of them, which in turn has proved to have a positive impact on our residents well being.
For Christmas, Tara Baker teamed up with her local church Hillsong Guildford gift initiative 'Angel Tree' to make this Christmas extra special for all of our residents by buying a present for each of them.
Staff and residents from Eastlake would like to say a huge thank you to Tara and all the congregation at Hillsong Guildford for the very generous donation!
Happy Christmas from everyone at Eastlake.
