At Bishopstoke Park our new retirement village development is proceeding at a great pace and is on target.
All parts of the site are now under construction and layout of the site is really starting to take shape. The Mount has been stripped to expose the brick and stonework and is being painstakingly restored to its former glory. The first independent units to be delivered to the site will be Birch Grange which will initially become the new sales office and marketing suites. We expect this to be ready by very early in the new year.
The central facilities are also all underway, with the foundations completed for the care home, reception, Bistro, Deli, and most of the ground floor village centre apartments. Even the grounds are beginning to take shape with the very start of the woodland management plan, which will continue for many years to come.
The construction team have made all efforts to minimise the disruption to the local community, with a massive process of vehicle washing, and noise baffling, but they have inevitably been aware of the additional traffic and noise from the site. We thank the local residents for their continued understanding in this matter.
