St Marys care home in Ipswich has been enjoying the run up to Christmas with an array of festive activities.

On the 8 December St Marys was taken over by Christmas Elves for ‘Elf Day’ in support of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Colleagues dressed as Elves for the day and put on an array of festive activities and a buffet for the residents to enjoy.

The following day the home’s annual Christmas Party was attended by friends, relatives and even Santa himself.

Susan Gibson, Deputy Manager said: “Everyone is feeling really festive here at St Marys. We all enjoyed the buffet with the tasty homemade soups and sweet treats going down a storm.

“The  Raffle and Tombola were very popular this year and raised £171 for our residents amenity fund. The raffle will be drawn on the 15 December so watch this space to find out who has won!”
