Care home residents, staff, families and local school children enjoyed the Christmas celebrations at Anchor’s West Hall care home in West Byfleet on Saturday (28 November) as it hosted its annual Christmas Fair.
Children met Santa in his grotto, listened to story time and enjoyed entertainment from Mike the Magician. Residents and visitors shared mulled wine and mince pies as they perused the many stalls selling gifts, jewellery, handbags, greeting cards, jams and chutneys and more.
West Hall General Manager, Kate Desmond, said: “It was wonderful to see all of our residents having a great time, and to see so many people that live in West Byfleet and Surrey come to West Hall and join in all of the fun.
“Our activity co-ordinators offer a wide range of classes and entertainment for our residents every week, so this was a lovely opportunity for staff, residents and their families to enjoy lots of different activities together.”
West Hall is a state-of-the-art residential care home, with Anchor Inspires accredited specialist dementia care, which implements an innovative care model empowering its residents to control the choices that impact their everyday lives.
